Non-Verbal Communication

As an extension of Mime, BiLi has developed one and two-day seminars on Non-Verbal communication
Effective communication encompasses verbal and non-verbal aspects. This seminar focuses on how to improve the components of non-verbal communication, that is, gestures, movements and positions of the body, the voice, how to establish visual contact with someone, the breathing, the use of silence, consistency between verbal and non-verbal communication...etc . Each student makes several short speeches in order to practice the non-verbal techniques of expression.
Non-verbal communication is an excellent tool to control a group of people and to make a meeting more effective. Furthermore, one can use it to cement a group of heterogeneous people and as part of team building exercises.
International clients where those seminars took place in-house include:
France: Cegelec, Lipha Labs, Hospices Civils de Lyon, Electricité/Gaz de France, Gemplus, Crédit Lyonnais. Spain: Sarrió, Ence, Crédit Lyonnais. Argentina: Mirgor, Banco Tornquist. Brazil: Banco Frances e Brasileiro. UK: Crédit Lyonnais. USA: Crédit Lyonnais. Italy: Siram, Occhipinti.

BiLi regularly teaches at the University of California at Berkeley Extension and at Stanford University Continuing Studies a workshop on "Effective Non-Verbal Communication".
